Rules and Regulations of Parallel Worlds Productions

Each artist¡¦s set must equal a total of 5 minutes excluding featured performances. If your set is less than 5 minutes 2 selections are welcomed to equal 5 minutes.

It is required that each poem, song, music, scene, or visual art, etc. is reviewed before the production. The content and language of art is open yet avoid excessive foul language. If your art is questionable be sure to ask questions.

Support! Support! Support! Admission with an advanced ticket $8.00/$10.00 at the door. Performers are admitted FREE as well as the Parallel Worlds crew members or any organization involved in sponsorship of Parallel Worlds ( must be determined before the production), NO EXCEPTIONS. It is urgent that each artist participate in promoting Parallel Worlds Productions. The production is a team effort. Each production is showcases for everyone to receive recognition for his or her gifts, therefore, let¡¦s form a team and promote each other.

All Artists must arrive at 7pm unless tardiness has been previously discussed. If an artist is going to be late please notify within 72 hours in advance (extreme circumstances are understood within reason). Once you arrive it¡¦s your responsibility to inform a Parallel Worlds Crew member. „« Welcome new artists: All new artists must attend a Parallel Worlds Production before performing. This will give artists an opportunity to become comfortable with the atmosphere. Rare situations may allow newcomers to perform without attending a showcase first

It is required that artist¡¦s give the title and order of chosen poems, songs, and acts, etc. as well as provide personal introductions (selected work and personal introductions are final once submitted, NO last minute changes are allowed). Information must be submitted the scheduled due date to the Executive Director or to a Parallel Worlds Representative to forward to the Executive Director no later than the DUE DATE. Scheduled meetings and auditions are mandatory.

Any props used must be removed from the stage at the end of each act. If props may cause any type of hazard be sure to leave the stage as is before the performance

All artists must provide a list of equipment that will be included in set.

All featured artists must submit a biography and headshot, poem, monologue, and (or) music for website 3-4 weeks before production.
